MOUNTAIN BIKE SAFETY

TAKE CARE & BE AWARE!

Lee Canyon offers over 445 acres of terrain for everyone to enjoy, but it also presents dangers that need to be considered before anyone gets on a trail. Mountain bike safety hinges on riders understanding and following the rules that are presented below. Obeying all signage, biking with a buddy or group, and knowing your limits will all help minimize risks and prevent incidents.

INHERENT RISKS OF MOUNTAIN BIKING & OTHER ACTIVITIES

Participants assume the risk of death or any injury to person or property resulting from any of the inherent risks of the activities. These risks include, but are not limited to, variations in terrain, variable conditions, flash flooding, cliffs, failure or misuse of rental equipment, loss of control, encounters or collisions with trees, rocks, fences, terrain features (natural or man-made), other participants in the activities, spectators, large equipment and their components, vehicles, all manmade or natural obstacles (padded or not) whether they are obvious or not, as well as use of terrain parks, trails, and other features.
