Viva La Gravity MTB Race #1

July 16 @ 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm


The Viva La Gravity series opens with Race #1 on Thursday, July 16. This is a gravity-fueled mountain bike race series where riders compete for podium spots and for the top spot of overall series champion. Spectators welcome. Come cheer on your favorite riders!

Overall series winner will win FREE VIP tickets to Red Bull Rampage. Winner will have the fastest cumulative time and must compete in all 4 races. Race #1 will take place on Blue Trail AKA “Fear and Flowing” – A fast and flowy berm paradise!

Elite Cash Payout

The Elite division features a 100% payback prize purse.

  • $20 entry fee
  • 100% of all Elite entry fees are paid back
  • Cash awards for:
    • 1st Place
    • 2nd Place
    • 3rd Place

Division Eligibility

  • Youth: Riders must be 17 years old or younger on race day.
  • Open: Open to riders of all ages and abilities.
  • Elite: Open to riders of all ages seeking the highest level of competition.
  • Masters: Riders must be 45 years of age or older on race day.

Riders may only compete in one division per race.

Race Schedule

1:30 PM – Registration & Number Plate Pickup Opens

2:15 PM – Registration Closes

2:30 PM – Chairlift Upload

2:45 PM – Racing Begins

  • Riders start in division order.
  • Start times and staging information will be announced at the start area.

Approximately 4:30 PM – Awards Ceremony at Bristlecone Bar Sky Deck or Base of Bluebird Lift.
