How does lift ticket pricing work?

Our online dynamic pricing is similar to how hotels and airlines work. You can save up to 35% off the window rate simply by booking online at least a day in advance. The Walk-up Window prices are a premium, fixed rate.

What rental equipment is included?

Rental equipment includes boots + skis or snowboard. Goggles, gloves, jackets & pants are not available for rent due to sanitation. These items are available for purchase in the Lee Canyon Sports Shop. Rental helmets are available at an additional cost.

Can I rent equipment for the entire Season?

Yes! Click here for an online purchase. There is a limited supply per season.

What is the minimum age for Snow Kids classes?

Skiers can start at age 4, and Snowboarders at age 6. Younger children must be in a Private Lesson.

How do I get my season pass once I’ve purchased it?

If you selected Free Shipping at check out, we will mail your season pass directly to you. Otherwise, you can have your pass printed in the pass office. We highly encourage you to come pick up your pass before the season starts as the printing process can take some time.

Do I need tire chains?

Chains are usually only required right after or during a snow storm, We always suggest having chains with you just in case of heavy snow or road restrictions. You can find out about any road closures or restrictions at www.nvroads.com or by calling 511.

How do I choose the correct tire chains?

Every car is different so you’ll need to do some research. This video from eTrailers.com is a great place to start!

How far is Lee Canyon from Vegas?

We are a quick 45-60 minute drive from Vegas depending on traffic. 50 miles from Downtown!

Is there a parking fee to enter the resort?

It is free to enter during summer operations, but there is a $10 parking fee during the winter season. Lee Canyon season pass holders have their fees included in the purchase of their passes. Purchase a pass.

How is the traffic?

Most days traffic is light and the drive is easy. During the Winter Holidays (Dec. 20th – Jan. 6th) and after it snows the Spring Mountains experience a huge influx of traffic. The many cars trying to see the snow often creates traffic backups and gridlocks. We HIGHLY suggest pre-booking your passes in advance and getting here as EARLY as possible during these peak visitation times.

Where is the closest place to stay?

Most visitors stay in the Las Vegas hotels and make the short drive up to the mountain. The Retreat on Charleston Peak is the closest hotel and offers a beautiful mountain setting in contrast to the Strip Hotel/Casinos. See more available options.

Do you have cross-country skiing?

We do not. We’re not aware of any official area to cross-country ski in the Spring Mountains. We would suggest reaching out to US Forrest Service to see if it’s permitted in the areas around the resort.

Do you have snow tubing?

Unfortunately, we do not. Tubing is not permitted on any of Lee Canyon’s managed areas.

What items are required for ski lessons?

We do not require any items to bring. But we do recommend bringing appropriate clothing, and gear to help make your day on the slopes easier. We have everything you need in our sports shop!
